It all started with a friendship and a desire to learn. Back in 1975, the foundation of a garment business was laid by two friends and neighbors Mian Ahsan and Javed Bhatti. Starting from a small workshop in the liberty market of Lahore with two rented sewing machines, these two budding businessmen gave their blood, sweat, and tears to this promising venture, after due diligence exploring, and innovating, found its niche – Denim Manufacturing.... Starting from making cotton shalwar kameez, sweaters, gloves, wash and wear bottoms, and twill garments and supplying to diverse markets of the UK and the Middle East, it became apt to focus on denim fabric and apparel production and supply. The company was previously known as LEEDS, which was later changed to Umer Siddique Group, it is named after the sons of both partners; Mian Umer (son of Mian Ahsan) and Siddique Bhatti (son of Javed Bhatti). Moving forward from 2022, US Group has diversified into four verticals; Apparel, Fabrics, New Ventures and Logistics.
